Important: Microsoft support for Windows 10 ends on 14 October 2025. After this date, the system will still work, but it will no longer receive free security updates. Consider upgrading to Windows 11 or purchasing Extended Security Updates (ESU).
Before you start
Windows 10 system requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | 1 GHz or faster | 2 GHz+ |
| RAM | 2 GB (64-bit) | 4–8 GB |
| Disk | 20 GB free | 128 GB SSD |
| Graphics | DirectX 9, WDDM 1.0 | — |
| Display | 800 × 600 | 1920 × 1080 |
Win 10 advantage: Significantly lower requirements than Windows 11. Does not require TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot. Works on older computers that do not support Windows 11.
Step 1: Download the Windows 10 ISO image
From the KluczeSoft email
After purchasing the key, you will receive an email with a link to download the ISO file.
From the Microsoft website
- Go to microsoft.com/software-download/windows10
- Download the Media Creation Tool
- Run → Create installation media → select:
- Language: Polish
- Edition: Windows 10
- Architecture: 64-bit
- Select ISO file → specify the save folder
Note: Microsoft may soon remove the Windows 10 download page. If the link does not work — use the link from the KluczeSoft email or write to [email protected].
Step 2: Create a USB installation media
USB drive with a minimum of 8 GB. Data will be deleted.
Rufus (recommended)
- Download Rufus from rufus.ie
- Connect the USB drive → run Rufus
- SELECT → specify the downloaded ISO file
- Partition scheme: GPT (for UEFI) or MBR (for older BIOS)
- Click START → wait 5–15 minutes
Media Creation Tool (alternative)
- Run MCT → Create installation media
- Select USB flash drive → specify the USB drive
- The tool will download and burn the system automatically
Step 3: Boot from the USB drive
- Connect the USB drive
- Restart and press the Boot Menu key:
| Manufacturer | Boot Menu | BIOS |
|---|---|---|
| Dell | F12 | F2 |
| HP | F9 | F10/ESC |
| Lenovo | F12 | F2 |
| ASUS | F8 | Del/F2 |
| Acer | F12 | F2/Del |
- Select the USB drive from the list
Step 4: Install Windows 10

- Key: click I don't have a product key (you will activate it later)
- Edition: select Windows 10 Pro
- Accept the terms → Custom: only install
- Select the partition → Next → wait 15–30 minutes
- Configuration:
- Country: Poland | Keyboard: Polish
- Network: you can skip (Win 10 Pro does not require a Microsoft account)
- Local account: select Offline account → enter the username
- Set a password and security questions
- Privacy settings

Step 5: Activate with a Key
Through Settings
- Win + I → Update and Security → Activation → Change product key
- Enter the 25-character key from KluczeSoft → Next → Activate
Through CMD
- CMD as administrator
slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXslmgr /ato
