Standard installation

1. Close all Office programs, if you have them already running.
2. Run the downloaded installer.
3. Accept the Windows user account control message.
4. Wait for the download and installation of files.
5. After the completion message, click Close.
6. Run Word, Excel, or PowerPoint from the Start menu.

Important note before installation

If there is an old or inactive version of Office on your computer, it's best to uninstall it before installing Office 2019. Mixing different editions and architectures (32-bit and 64-bit) often causes installer and activation errors.

Activation

Activation in the graphical interface

1. Open Word or Excel.
2. Click File > Account.
3. Select the option to change the product key, if visible.
4. Enter the received key.
5. Confirm and wait for the activation message.

Activation via CMD

For Office, we use ospp.vbs, not slmgr.vbs. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and execute the appropriate commands.

For a typical 64-bit installation:

If you have 32-bit Office on a 64-bit system:

If online activation does not work, run the activation wizard and select telephone activation. Microsoft's number for Poland is 00 800 121 1654.

Activation verification

The easiest way to check activation is in the Word program:

File > Account

Look for information such as:

• Product activated
• Microsoft Office 2019 Home & Student
• No message about the need for activation

In CMD, you can use the command:

cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus

If the status shows an active license, the package has been successfully activated.

Troubleshooting

Error 0xC004F050

Most often, it means an incorrect key or a key that does not match this Office edition. Check if you are activating exactly Office 2019 Home & Student, and not another version.

Error 0xC004C060

Usually indicates that the key has been blocked or invalidated. In such a case, contact the seller and prepare a screenshot of the error.

Message "We cannot verify this product key"

Often appears due to a typo, incorrect Microsoft account assignment, or conflict with previously installed Office. It's worth uninstalling the old version and retrying.

Installation error 30015-11 or 30182-1

The most common cause is remnants of old Office, damaged Click-to-Run service, or blocking by a security program. Restarting the system, uninstalling the previous package, and re-downloading the installer helps.

Version conflict message 32-bit and 64-bit

It is not possible to install 64-bit Office if there are still 32-bit Office components in the system, such as old Outlook or Visio. You need to remove the conflicting version first.

Online activation does not work despite a correct key

Check your internet connection, system date and time, and network firewall. In corporate networks, it sometimes happens that connections to Microsoft's activation servers are blocked.

Antivirus blocks installation or activation

If you are using Norton, Bitdefender, ESET, McAfee, or Avast, perform activation and license management through the manufacturer's website, not through ospp.vbs. This is an important distinction: ospp.vbs only applies to the Microsoft Office package.
