How to update Office 2021 to Office 2024
Office 2024 is a one-time purchase (like 2021) — does not require a subscription. The transition requires a new key.
Can I use my Office 2021 key on Office 2024?
No. Office 2021 and 2024 keys are not interchangeable. You need an Office 2024 key, e.g. from KluczeSoft.pl.
Step 1: Uninstall Office 2021
- Settings → Apps → Installed apps
- Find Microsoft Office → click Uninstall
- Confirm removal
Or use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant tool for complete removal.
Step 2: Install Office 2024
Retail version (Home & Business, Home & Student):
- Go to setup.office.com
- Log in with your Microsoft account
- Download and run the installer
Volume License version (Standard, Professional Plus):
- Use the ISO file from the email from KluczeSoft
- Mount the ISO and run Setup.cmd
Step 3: Activate
- Open Word → File → Account → Change product key
- Enter your new Office 2024 key
- Click Activate
